Immerse yourself in the unspoilt nature of the Lepontine Alps and the walk to the Begna waterfalls is not to be missed. Next to the church of Begna, just a few minutes from the Retreat, the path begins. After passing the last houses of the village, it leads into the woods. It continues with a gentle climb to a small chapel, and from here the path begins to descend. Following the signs for the waterfall, you first reach a characteristic bridge over the river and then the waterfall. The inviting pool of crystal-clear water is certainly very refreshing on summer days.
