Every summer, the Coop Open Air Cinema transforms the picturesque Lido di Lugano into an open-air movie theater, where major international hits and new releases are screened in a unique setting on the shores of the lake. The 2026 edition will take place from August 21 to September 13, offering a rich program of films for all ages to enjoy on pleasant late-summer evenings.
From the Parco San Marco Hotels & Beach Resort, the Lido di Lugano is easily accessible in about 25 minutes by car. Alternatively, you can reach Lugano by public transportation and continue with a short walk along the lake to the screening area.
