Our international guests and the feedback of our frequenters have shown that the Hotel Parco San Marco with its stunning surrounding at the lake Lugano is getting more and more important as a holiday destination for those guests, who like travelling with their small dog.

Due to this fact we decided to create a new, exclusive service in order to turn a stay at our hotel into an unforgettable experience.

What is the advantage of Parco San Marco as ideal holiday destination?

The proximity to Switzerland (Lugano 15 km), Austria (3 hours) and Germany (3 hours) is already an important reason for guests travelling by car.

Arrived in the Hotel Parco San Marco, you can immerse directly in this fascinating natural spectacle of the lake Lugano with its breathtaking mountainscape. A walk in the morning or in the evening will not only inspire your fast friend, but will also be a great experience for the dog`s owners.

We care for the good of your quadrupeds:

• Already at the arrival you'll receive a small welcoming gift especially for your small dog.
• The suites are especially equipped with dog bowls and cuddly sleeping accommodation.
• On request there are rooms available with direct access to the garden.
• In the resort you will find devices with rubbish bags everywhere, to take off the dog's excrement directly.
• You can borrow leashes in various sizes at the reception (deposit of 15 EURO) in case you have forgotten your dog?s at home.
• We organize guided hikes for our guests ? dogs are very welcome to join the group.

A special service

Dog sitting: You would like to spend some hours without your dog? While playing a round of golf or passing some relaxing hours with a massage in our SPA, we care for your quadruped.
On request we place a dog sitter at your disposal (20 EURO per hour).

To ensure a smooth process, we kindly ask you to book the dog sitting with the reservation of your hotel room. On-site registration for the dog sitting is possible at our reception until one day in advance at the latest.

If you consider a care of your dog, please bring the following things:

·         Vaccination card

·         Leashes

·         Pharmaceuticals

·         Blanket

Of course there are also reserved areas in the hotel, where quadrupeds are not allowed, but their owners appreciative that. In Italy it's not allowed to take your pets inside the restaurant. Thank you for your understanding.

Your dog costs 15 EURO per day. 
The dog service is bookable to all our packages.

And for guests without dogs: For allergy sufferer you find as well "dog-free-rooms".
