Feedback from our international guests and visitors has shown that the Hotel Parco San Marco, with its stunning surroundings at the Lago di Lugano, is getting more and more important as a holiday destination for guests who like to travel with their dog.

Due to this fact, we decided to create new, exclusive services, in order to turn a stay at our hotel into an unforgettable experience.

What is the advantage of Parco San Marco when compared to other destinations? What makes it into an ideal holiday destination?

The proximity to Switzerland (Lugano 15 km), Austria (3 hours) and Germany (3 hours) is already an important incentive for guests, especially those travelling by car.

Having arrived at the Hotel Parco San Marco, you can immerse directly into the fascinating natural surroundings of Lago di Lugano with its breathtaking mountain scenery. A morning or evening walk will not only inspire your pet friend, it will also create a great experience for you.

We care about your dog's wellbeing:

• At arrival already you'll receive a small welcoming gift, especially for your dog.
• Suites are especially equipped with dog bowls and cosy sleeping accommodations.
• On request, there are rooms available with direct garden access.
• On resort grounds, you will find many dog poo bag distributors, making it possible for you to dispose of excrements directly.
• Should you have forgotten yours at home, you can borrow leashes of various lengths at the reception (deposit of €15).
• We organize guided hiking trips for our guests - dogs are very welcome to join the group.

 

A special service

Dog sitting:

You would like to spend some time without your dog, playing a round of golf or spending some relaxing hours in the SPA or our massage center?

We will take care of your quadruped and organise a dog sitter for you on request (€20/hour).

To ensure a smooth procedure, we kindly ask you to book the dog sitting with the reservation of your hotel room. On-site registration for the dog sitting is possible at our reception until one day in advance at the latest.

Should you opt for a dog sitter, please bring the following things:

·         Vaccination card

·         Leashes

·         Medicine (if required)

·         Blanket

Of course there are also areas in the hotel where dogs are not allowed. These include the restaurants, for example, in which dogs are forbidden by Italian law. Thank you for your understanding.

For your dog's overnight stay we charge €15/day. 
The dog services are bookable in addition to all our packages.
