The course was opened up in 1928, the foundation was in 1933. The course is embedded in the beautiful landscape and on the subtropical penisula in an altitude of 200 m directly over the Lago Maggiore. Surrounded by a fascinating mountan range it is a true jewel. The narrow fairways, lined by an old stock of trees, carefully guarded by bunkers, are in conection with doglegs and water also a challenge for good players.
