1907 a certain Mr. Wyatt, son and heir of a rich Englishman, came to the mountains above of Grandola and Uniti as a tourist.
Lanzo is a golf course in the mountains in an altitude of 1.000 metres above the Lugane Lake and in immediate proximity of the Swiss border
The course is beautiful- broad fairwas in a flat plain surrounded by high mountains. There a two artificial lakes and densely forested regions with over all two thousand trees.
Only eight kilometres away from Lugano this course offers a varied and demanding parcourse with many water hazards, narrow fairways and a lush vegetation.
The club is situated behind the beautiful Montorfano-Lake in the sunny Brianza in an altitude of 1.200 m, where the landscape reminds of the one in Scotland.
The course was opened up in 1928, the foundation was in 1933. The course is embedded in the beautiful landscape and on the subtropical penisula in an altitude of 200 m directly over the Lago Maggiore.
